The Irving is a new 102 unit, permanently affordable, all electric multifamily building located at 3270 W Colfax Ave. in Denver’s West Colfax neighborhood. Developed and owned by Urban Land Conservancy, the project will serve households earning between 20 percent and 80 percent of area median income, with affordability guaranteed for at least 99 years through a community land trust. The building sits next to the Denver Public Library’s Corky Gonzales Branch and was designed by Studio Completiva with construction by Pinkard Construction. Built to exceed National Green Building Standards, The Irving features rooftop solar, heat pump heating and cooling, ENERGY STAR rated appliances, electric vehicle charging, water efficient landscaping, and universal and trauma informed design elements aimed at long term resident stability and sustainability.
