Englewood CityCenter
About This Property
Englewood CityCenter occupies the former Cinderella City Mall site and was redeveloped in the early 2000s as a transit oriented mixed use district adjacent to the Englewood LRT station. The site was envisioned as a regional suburban town center combining office, retail, civic uses, and structured parking. Today, CityCenter includes a mix of active retail tenants, city offices, surface and structured parking, and several large format buildings that are vacant or underutilized, including the former Office Depot and former 24 Hour Fitness. While portions of the site remain active, others no longer reflect current market demand or best use for a transit adjacent location. New Englewood LLC, a joint venture between DPC Companies and Ogilvie Partners LLC, is leading early stage planning for a long term redevelopment of privately owned portions of the site. Initial efforts are focused on the C1 and C2 blocks along West Hampden Avenue, with no current plans to redevelop the Englewood Civic Center. The development team has emphasized a phased, intentional approach, with additional community meetings and pre development hearings planned before any formal proposals are finalized.
