The Chrysalis Apartments is a planned seven-story supportive housing development at 1777 Franklin Street in Denver’s City Park West that will replace existing older buildings with 70 deeply affordable units reserved for residents earning 30% of area median income or less. It is led by The Empowerment Program with design by Radix Design and construction by Pinkard Construction, and includes community spaces, supportive services, and a 60-year affordability covenant. The project is set to break ground in fall 2025 and will be a Zero Energy Ready building using an innovative light-gauge steel structural system.
