Smalls Sliders is planning a new drive-thru restaurant at 4889 N Telluride Street in northeast Denver. The proposal calls for a 786 square foot standalone building paired with a 963 square foot outdoor patio, for a total of 1,749 square feet of restaurant and seating space.
The site sits near the intersection of Telluride Street and Green Valley Ranch Boulevard, an area that continues to attract new commercial development. Plans show a compact quick-service building designed primarily for drive-thru operations, along with on-site parking, a dedicated drive-thru lane, bicycle parking, site lighting, landscaping, and EV charging infrastructure.
Smalls Sliders is a fast-growing burger chain founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2019. The concept focuses on a streamlined menu built around cheeseburger sliders, seasoned fries, milkshakes, and its signature Smauce. Many locations are known for their bright orange, container-style buildings designed to support drive-thru heavy or drive-thru only service.
The brand began franchising nationally in 2021 and has since expanded rapidly across the United States. Colorado is a newer market for Smalls Sliders, with its first location opening last month in Northglenn at 1831 E 120th Avenue with additional restaurants planned as part of a broader multi-unit expansion strategy.
If built, the Telluride Street location would add another drive-thru dining option for residents and commuters in the Green Valley Ranch area, which has seen steady growth in fast-casual restaurants and neighborhood retail in recent years.
