Palantir, Colorado’s most valuable company, is preparing to leave downtown Denver for Cherry Creek.
The $400B software firm is building out an 11,400-square-foot office at Financial House.
Public filings show Palantir will occupy the sixth floor and part of the seventh, with Rand Construction leading the buildout and M Moser Associates handling design.
Palantir’s Denver story began in 2020 when it relocated its headquarters from Silicon Valley, first landing on Blake Street before settling into the Tabor Center at 1200 17th Street.
Over the past year, Palantir has gained controversial notoriety, with protests held outside of its Tabor offices. Still, this move likely has less to do with protests and more to do with a broader trend that companies in older office towers upgrading into new space in the city’s most desirable neighborhoods. In that sense, Cherry Creek was always in play.
Financial House opened in 2019, developed by BMC Investments and Bow River Capital, before selling for $55M that same year. Current tenants include BMC Investments, Bow River Capital, WeWork, Huntington National Bank, and UBS Financial Services.
Palantir will take just under 14,000 square feet, filling space once leased by Oceanside Ten Holdings.
For Cherry Creek, the arrival of Palantir marks another milestone in the neighborhood’s evolution into a hub for finance, investment, and technology
