Construction has reached a key milestone at Oasis Apartments, a new mixed use development rising at 299 Milwaukee Street in Cherry Creek North.
The project, developed by BMC Investments and built by Beck Group, recently celebrated its topping out as the structure reached its final height. We attended the ceremony, which drew what appeared to be more than 200 people. General contractor Beck Group hosted the event and kicked things off with food fresh off the grill prepared by Beck team members, followed by a raffle and the traditional beam signing before the final piece of steel was placed.
Oasis will span nearly an entire block between 2nd and 3rd avenues along Milwaukee Street. Plans include luxury apartments and approximately 24,000 square feet of ground floor retail intended to activate the surrounding streetscape.
The project will also include a publicly accessible park at the corner of 3rd Avenue and Milwaukee Street featuring fountains and open space integrated into the development.
The residential program will include a mix of studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom units. Amenities are expected to include a fitness center, two interior courtyards, and a rooftop lounge and pool terrace with views of the Denver skyline.
Construction began with demolition of three existing buildings and a parking structure in September 2024. Vertical construction followed in June 2025 as crews navigated a constrained urban site in the heart of Cherry Creek North. Beck Group reported to be currently ahead of schedule on construction and is expected to begin work soon on its next nearby project at 250 Clayton St.
With construction progressing ahead of schedule, the project is currently expected to reach substantial completion in early 2027 and will add new residential density and street level retail to one of Denver’s most established mixed use neighborhoods.
