Landmark Properties is making visible progress on The Standard at Boulder, a 936-bed student housing community rising on the former site of the Harvest House Hotel near the University of Colorado Boulder.
Following demolition of the hotel in 2024, construction is now well underway on the 447,000-square-foot development at 1345 28th Street. Landmark Construction, the firm’s in-house general contractor, has completed site work and concrete cores, with wood framing advancing quickly across multiple sections of the building.
“The Standard at Boulder is beginning to take shape, and it’s exciting to see the vision come to life,” said Wes Rogers, President and CEO of Landmark Properties.
“This project not only addresses the growing demand for student housing near CU Boulder, but also creates a unique public green space along Boulder Creek.”
The four-story community will offer 303 apartments ranging from studios to four-bedroom layouts. More than 29,000 square feet of resident amenities are planned, including rooftop decks overlooking the Flatirons, study lounges, a pool, and a club room. Parking for 348 vehicles and EV charging stations are also included.
As part of the development, nearly six acres of public green space will front Boulder Creek, including lawns, pickleball courts, and a creek-edge trail. Improvements to the Boulder Creek Path, which runs directly through the site, are also progressing.
The project remains on schedule for completion in Fall 2027.
