A new kind of social hub just opened in Denver, and it landed in Elyria Swansea. Moodswing, an all-in-one pickleball, dining, and community destination, is open following a two-year adaptive reuse transformation of a former plumbing supply warehouse.

Developed by the Perpetual First team of Giovanni Leone, Colton Cartwright, and Justin Riley, Moodswing was designed as a true “third space,” a place where work, play, food, and culture intersect throughout the day. The 43,000-square-foot interior is paired with an expansive 33,000-square-foot outdoor patio, making it one of the largest and most flexible social venues in the city.

At its core, Moodswing is built around pickleball, offering six indoor courts, four heated covered outdoor courts, and two additional uncovered outdoor courts. What sets the facility apart is its accessibility and pricing. Courts will be available for hourly rental between $20 and $30 per hour, not per person, with paddles and balls included at no extra cost. Dedicated park-play courts allow walk-ins to jump into games, while beginners can add lessons with a certified coach or train using a ball machine. League play will initially be hosted with Silly Pickle and Volo Sports several nights a week, with themed events, tournaments, and DJ pickleball parties planned throughout the year.

Beyond the courts, Moodswing positions itself as a full-day destination. Doors open daily at 8 a.m., starting with a dedicated coffee program running until 3 p.m., serving espresso drinks and specialty lattes. The space doubles as a co-working environment with high-speed internet, multiple lounges, and flexible meeting areas designed for neighborhood gatherings and casual workdays open until 12am daily.

Food and drink play a central role in the experience. The culinary program, developed by Nicholas Dalton, chef and co-founder of Brasserie Brixton, centers on brick oven–fired pizzas alongside shareable dishes like crispy Calabrian Hot Honey wings, a Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza, and Garlic Marinated Shrimp with Chimichurri Aioli. Morning offerings include breakfast burritos, overnight oats from Uptown & Humboldt, and house-made pastries. A full bar program rounds out the menu with beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.

Moodswing is intentionally inclusive, welcoming pickleball players and non-players alike. The venue is built to host everything from concerts and yoga classes to corporate events, private parties, and neighborhood meetups, reinforcing its role as a long-term community anchor in Elyria Swansea. Indoor and outdoor stages support live music, DJs, and community programming throughout the year.

Moodswing will celebrate its grand opening Friday, January 9 - Sunday, January 11, 2026, with three days of programming featuring open court play, food specials, live music, DJs, play against a pro (play against the former #1 pickleball player in the world), Stock Show after-party line dancing, and more!

Additionally, readers can try Moodswing for themselves with a free first pickleball game. Use the promo code FIRSTTIMER when booking a court through Moodswing’s website here.
