Boulder’s wellness scene is about to level up in a big way!
On May 27, national luxury athletic brand, Life Time, will open its highly anticipated Boulder location, introducing a new standard of wellness, social connection, and performance-driven amenities to the city.
Strategically positioned just off Arapahoe Avenue and steps from Pearl Street, this flagship destination sits in one of Boulder’s most vibrant and accessible neighborhoods.
The 29th Street Mall, owned by Macerich, is steps away and is more than just a shopping center, it’s a lively, open-air lifestyle destination that reflects the city’s unique blend of urban sophistication and outdoor charm. With Pearl Street Mall also less than a mile away, members will enjoy seamless access to top-tier dining, shopping, and entertainment, making it easier than ever to integrate wellness into everyday life.
Development began in fall 2024, transforming the former Colorado Athletic Club into a boutique-style Life Time with a modern edge. While considered boutique at 52,000 square feet (including 36,000 indoors), the club delivers full access to all Life Time locations across Colorado and beyond, totaling over 180 locations.
This is more than just a gym, it’s a comprehensive lifestyle hub. Inside, members will find a sleek, spa-like design, a state-of-the-art gym floor, premium equipment, and expert personal trainers.
Recovery is equally prioritized, with cutting-edge amenities like HydroMassage beds, Cryotherapy, cold plunge, a warm jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna.
Members will even have access to the go-to recovery solution for athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike, NormaTec compression therapy. Their popularity stems from their proven ability to enhance circulation, reduce muscle soreness, and speed up recovery after intense physical activity.
The luxurious locker rooms feel more like a resort spa, adding a layer of exclusivity and comfort. In addition, over 100 classes will be available at launch, including signature Life Time formats such as Alpha, GTX, and Ultra Fit, each designed to meet different goals in a motivating, group setting.
Members can also find Yoga (heated and traditional), Barre, Cycle, and Shred classes, all included in memberships.
Private Reformer Pilates, currently experiencing a major resurgence, will be available as a premium add-on. Life Time Boulder also boasts a recently approved metabolic testing program, perfect for those seeking data-driven fitness optimization.
One of the most anticipated features is the resort-style, year round, heated outdoor pool, set to open shortly after the club’s debut. Complete with private cabanas, a poolside bistro, and stunning mountain views, it promises to be a summer hotspot.
Life Time is pursuing a liquor license to support curated events like wine tastings, live music, and monthly social gatherings, all part of its mission to create a wellness experience that extends beyond the gym. A dedicated events coordinator has already been hired to bring this lifestyle vision to life.
Families will also be well cared for, thanks to the Life Time Kids Academy, which offers instructor-led programming for children while parents enjoy the vast amenities.
With construction led by Brinkmann Constructors and Boulder’s wellness-forward community eagerly awaiting its arrival, Life Time’s latest outpost is poised to become a central hub for indoor and outdoor fitness, athletic training, relaxation, and social connection.
Memberships are now open! The wait for Boulder’s most complete fitness experience is almost over—and just in time for summer.
