1812 35th Street

The Great Divide Brewing Company in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood could soon become home to a new kind of recreational offering: padel.

A recently submitted concept plan proposes the addition of both indoor and outdoor padel courts at 1812 35th Street, while maintaining the brewery’s operations and its popular Barrel Bar.

The 65,000-square-foot facility at the corner of 35th and Brighton Blvd would be reconfigured to accommodate either six indoor and six outdoor courts or five indoor and six outdoor courts, depending on final design.

Padel,a fast-growing sport that blends elements of tennis and squash, has seen a surge in popularity across the U.S., making it a fitting addition to RiNo’s active, social landscape.

Importantly, neither the brewery nor the Barrel Bar are slated for closure under the current plan; rather, the proposed changes would expand the site’s offerings without disrupting existing operations.

The concept remains under city review, and no construction timeline has been announced.

If approved, the project would mark one of Denver’s first brewery + padel combos, introducing a unique twist to one of the city’s most dynamic neighborhoods.
