A new chapter in urban recreation is coming to Denver’s 9+CO development this weekend with the grand opening of Cloud 9 Park.
Set to officially open to the public on Saturday, June 28, the park brings with it a city first, Denver’s inaugural public padel court!
This marks a milestone in the city’s evolving active lifestyle amenities.
The grand opening will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and feature live music by Dotsero, local food trucks, an artist meet-and-greet with Ana Maria Hernando, and free access to the new padel court.
Designed by Dig Studio and developed in partnership with Colorado Springs Padel and Aspen Padel Club, the court will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., with free public play available between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
A waiver is required to participate, available through PlaybyPoint. Outside the free public play hours, reservations can be made for $80 per hour. Equipment will be available onsite for rent or purchase.
Beyond the padel court, Cloud 9 Park will offer landscaped gathering areas, walking paths, interactive children’s features, and public art, making it a vibrant new destination for locals and visitors alike.
As 9+CO continues to expand its offerings, the addition of Cloud 9 Park reinforces the development’s commitment to public green space, wellness, and culture in the heart of the city.
