Colorado Startup Week is one of North America’s largest free entrepreneurship events, drawing more than 10,000 founders, investors, creatives, and innovators each year. The weeklong gathering, held September 14–18, 2026, offers over 250 sessions and more than 200 community‑driven events designed to inspire, educate, and connect participants across Colorado’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Originally launched as Denver Startup Week in 2012, the event expanded beyond the city and adopted the name Colorado Startup Week in 2025 to reflect its statewide reach. It has grown from a handful of grassroots sessions into a broad movement supporting entrepreneurs at all stages of building and scaling their businesses.
Programming spans four tracks—Ignite, Create, Operate, and Grow—and takes place across multiple Colorado communities, including Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Littleton, and Jefferson County. Sessions range from technical workshops and founder storytelling to experiential offerings like outdoor painting hikes. In recent years, artificial intelligence has emerged as a major theme, with about 75% of sessions featuring AI‑related content.
Despite its growth, Colorado Startup Week remains fully free, volunteer‑driven, and community‑led, emphasizing inclusivity and accessibility for all participants. It continues to play a central role in shaping Colorado’s innovation landscape by celebrating the people, ideas, and companies driving the state’s entrepreneurial future.
