A third Boka Restaurant Group concept is taking shape at 2nd & Adams, adding a major rooftop restaurant to the mixed use project in Cherry Creek North.
The rooftop is currently identified in project materials as “Boka Rooftop,” though Boka has not announced a final public name. Separate filings have identified the concept as 2nd & Adams Rooftop, suggesting both names may be working titles as plans move forward.
The latest rendering shows a substantial indoor outdoor venue with covered dining, lounge seating, fire features, layered landscaping and open views across Cherry Creek. CBRE leasing materials allocate 5,473 square feet to the rooftop, while OZ Architecture has long planned an active roof deck restaurant positioned around downtown and mountain views.
The rooftop joins Picchi and Varda, the 2 ground floor concepts Naked Denver first reported in June. Picchi is planned as a dinner focused Northern Italian restaurant centered on handmade pasta, while Varda is planned as an Israeli and Mediterranean restaurant serving lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.
Chef Brian Lockwood, a Boulder native whose resume includes The French Laundry, Frasca Food & Wine, Eleven Madison Park and The NoMad, is a chef partner with Boka and is overseeing the group’s Denver expansion.
The 5 story development was designed by OZ Architecture, built by Mortenson and developed by Magnetic Capital, which now lists the roughly 100,000 square foot project as 100% leased.
With 3 Boka concepts spanning the ground floor and roof, 2nd & Adams is positioned to become one of Cherry Creek’s most concentrated new dining destinations. No opening date has been announced.
