After over five years of construction, the 85-unit apartment building on Emerson & Park Ave in Uptown is finally nearing completion.
Construction began on the Evo on Emerson in 2016 until a massive fire in 2018 destroyed the building and also took the lives of two Denver residents.
The development site was purchased by Allante Properties back in 2016 for $1.7 million. However, after the 2018 blaze, Allante struggled to quickly rebound due to potential litigation and other issues.
063 Design + Development purchased the unfinished project from Allante Properties in 2020 for a cool $8.2 Million. Allante still retains 1% ownership in the property.
063 Design + Development, led by Courtney McRickard is an integrated firm performing design, entitlement and development services ranging from concept, branding, graphics and interiors.
With fresh new ownership, the Evo on Emerson will deliver 85 micro units with a mix of studios and 1-bedrooms.
Each of the units includes a kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and in-unit washer/dryers.
Select units include a private patio or deck, while shared building amenities include a roof deck, fitness center, gaming room, private storage, dog wash and a private parking garage.
Currently, the Evo on Emerson has studio units from 400 square feet to 515 square feet available at rental rates from $1,585-$1,885.
The 1-bedroom units will be approximately 75% larger in the 700 square foot range and will be available for around $2,100-$2,300 per month.
