2534 18th Street
A new apartment project is advancing through Denver’s development review process at 2534 18th Street in the Highland neighborhood.
The proposal, called Infinity Central 18, recently moved into the site development plan stage with the City and County of Denver. The project calls for a 9 story residential building totaling about 170,000 square feet.
Plans show the building would include 121 residential units with three levels of structured parking providing about 122 spaces within the lower levels of the building.
Infinity Properties, a Denver based developer, is behind the project. The company was founded by Paul Schmergel, who launched Infinity Homes in Denver in 1997 before expanding into multifamily and other development through Infinity Properties.
The building design includes several amenity spaces, including a rooftop pool, fitness center, and landscaped amenity decks planned for the fourth and ninth floors.
Preliminary plans indicate about 12 units may be designated as affordable housing, representing roughly 10% of the total units.
The site currently contains two buildings dating to the 1970s, one occupied by Acosta Sales and Marketing.
The property was previously considered for a 116 unit project by short term rental company Sonder, though that proposal never moved forward. An entity tied to Infinity purchased the site for $5.3 million in May 2025, according to records.
Earlier concept plans proposed 132 units, but the total was reduced to 121 units in the formal site development plan as the project moved through city review.
Davis Partnership Architects is leading the project design, with Craft Civil Engineering supporting site infrastructure planning.
